Garage To Be Built
Good afternoon. Today, we planned to commence construction on the garage. Unfortunately, due to rain, we had to halt the process. Our revised objective is to begin framing the garage tomorrow and continue over the next few days.
I have contacted REMC to see the timeframe for the power to be installed in the house, and I am waiting for a call back from him to get this response.
House Set, Wrapped, and First Walk Through
The house was set on Friday, 8/25/2023. The following Monday was a flurry of progress where we saw Kenny do his first walk. Bobby and Denise wrapped the floors and counters while cleaning up. Steve Brown, the electrician, installed the electrical service and called in for inspections on his work. Finally, we saw that Jesse and Nick were there siding the ends of the house! This is all very good and we are all very excited for the work that is happening at the house.
Set Postponed
Unfortunately, we had to reschedule the set due to severe storms and rain coming through. We have rescheduled for 8/25/2023.
